Germany is famous for its strict rules and transparency. So, it’s interesting to see that Felix Wunderlich isn’t actually a director of the German Lingoda GmbH anymore.
He moved over to Lingoda Limited... in the UK. Now, the UK "Limited" structure has much more relaxed reporting rules than a German "GmbH."
By setting up the parent company in London, the big financial moves are now hidden behind a much thicker curtain. Why move the "brain" of a proudly German company to a different country with fewer rules?
